Shea Davis

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Shea shows up with hard-earned wisdom and a steady presence, guiding couples through betrayal with empathy that comes from lived experience.

She knows how to hold complexity—grief, rage, shame, and repair—without rushing the process or losing sight of hope.

Both Sides of Betrayal—Lived and Learned

I spent twenty-four years married to someone whose secrets kept blindsiding me—while I numbed my own emptiness and confusion with substances. I was stuck in a loop of silence, rage, and shame.

Twelve-step rooms taught me how to face my own emotions, how to stand still in my pain, and how to rebuild a life that can’t be ripped apart. That personal history fuels every session I lead.

Why Neuro-Informed Affair Recovery Matters

Literal thinkers, pace-setters, sensory seekers, verbal processors—neurodiverse couples juggle all of it while trying to heal the deepest cut their relationship has ever taken.

I translate those differences so the Seven-Step Roadmap lands for both partners, not just the faster-talking one. I will lead you through this process with proven steps delivered in a way every brain can grasp.

What I Bring to The Room:
  • Lived empathy for both partners’ agony

  • Ground-rules that stop re-traumatizing fights before they start

  • Fierce boundary coaching, because fuzzy lines invite repeat damage
