Jory Wilson
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Jory brings lived experience, steady guidance, and a deep understanding of what it takes to rebuild after betrayal.
He’s especially passionate about helping neurodiverse couples move from shutdown and shame to clarity, connection, and real repair.
From Secret Cycles to Straight Talk
I grew up in a house with two emotions that were acceptable to display—anger and humor. By the time I hit adulthood, the lack of emotional regulation and coping strategies led me to compulsive sexual behaviors.
Rock bottom came fast: loneliness on repeat, intimacy I could fake but not feel, and a wife who no longer trusted a word I said. I finally asked for help, faced the shame, and did the daily grind of recovery work.
Today our marriage is honest, gritty, and—against all odds—fun. I know firsthand that betrayal doesn’t get the last word.
Why I’m All-In on Affair Recovery for Neurodiverse Couples
Neurodiverse partners often process pain at different speeds, in different languages, and with different sensory limits. Standard affair-recovery models ignore those gaps and leave both people stuck.
I zero in on the wiring and the wound, so each partner feels understood instead of steam-rolled. Everyone I see moves through the same Seven-Step Roadmap we use across the center—from crisis stabilization to long-term reconnection—adapted for literal language, slower processing time, or sensory overload as needed.
